Welcome to Nobara dojo

 

Nobara dojo is a Martial Art dojo where we practice Iaido, Kendo, Jodo, Ryukyukan Karate (Shorin Ryu - Kobayashi ryu) and kobudo.

Our dojo is located at Aalst, a town close to Brussels in Belgium.

The dojo is formed by Eddy De Clercq. He holds a 3th dan in Iaido (ZNKR - Muso Shinden Ryu) and a 2th dan Shorin ryu Karate. In Karate he is a direct student of Sensei Koei Nohara (8th dan-Hanshi) from Okinawa, one of the top Okinawa teachers in the world. Eddy De Clercq travels regularly to Japan to perfect his skills. He is also Vice-president of the Flemish Kendo, Iaido and Jodo Federation (VKIJF vzw) and board member of the All Belgium Kendo Federation.

Our dojo is about 120 m2 and is inaugurated by the Shinto Priest KISHI AKINOBU in october 2007.

Tuesday from 6.30 pm - 7.30 pm Karate children
Tuesday from 7.30 pm - 9.00 pm Karate adults
Wednesday from 7.30 pm - 9.00 pm Kendo
Thursday from 8.00 pm - 9.00 pm Jodo
Thursday from 9.00 pm - 10.30 pm Iaido
Friday from 6.30 pm - 7.30 pm Karate children
Friday from 7.30 pm - 9.00 pm Karate adults
Sunday from 9.30 am - 11.00 am Iaido
Sunday from 11.00 am - 12.30 Kendo
